Case Study: Web Site Design

The Capital District Kids Directory is a printed resource directory for local businesses with services and products of interest to parents with young children. It also provides a calendar of coming events in the community.

GOAL: When a local businesswoman opened a franchise in the area, she asked us to develop a web site that would supplement the directory that was being published each month.

STRATEGY: The primary colors in the existing franchise brand were the basis for this fun and colorful design. The web site includes a calendar that we can update and a copy of the entire list of local resources that is featured in the directory. Of course, as the new directory is published and distributed around the Capital Region, we can also put it on this web site as a PDF download for those who misplace or never get a copy of the actual print directory.
