Case Study : Table Top Booth Design

GOAL: The client wanted to upgrade the look of their display for marketing at industry events, from a "paper and cardboard with taped photos" display to a professional looking, educational exhibit that could be easily transported and set up.

STRATEGY: I had a meeting with the client to go over the photo material and discuss the possible ways to approach the project. I spoke with a vendor to get estimates for table top displays, and selected one to base a mock up design on, and presented the following mock up along with specs and estimate for the display.

After the client approved the direction, I obtained the exact dimensions for the display, and developed the actual design using the copy provided by a marketing copy writer hired by the client. This is a close up of part of the design. The background was based on clipart which I customized, and then duplicated and rearranged to create a garland of pine needles and pine cones.

This is a representation of what the final design looked like (minus lights). The design was printed on two pieces of vinyl, with velcro to wrap around the exhibit frame.
